The Story Behind Books By Simone
Books By Simone began from my love of writing, encouraging others, and creating meaningful resources that people can connect with in different seasons of life.
What started as a creative passion grew into a collection of books, journals, devotionals, children’s stories, and personal-growth resources designed to inspire, uplift, and encourage readers of all ages.
Each book has its own purpose, but they all share one thing in common: I want readers to walk away feeling stronger, more confident, more hopeful, and reminded that their story matters.
A Little About Me
I’m Simone — an author, entrepreneur, mother, and creative at heart. I love turning ideas into meaningful experiences, whether through writing, travel, events, or creating resources that encourage others.
My faith, family, life experiences, and the different seasons I’ve walked through have all influenced the books I create. I’ve learned that sometimes the right words can meet you exactly where you are, and that’s what I hope my books do for someone else.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, creating new ideas, and finding ways to turn inspiration into something that can encourage or make a difference in someone’s life.
Why I Write
I believe words have the power to encourage, heal, inspire, and help people see themselves differently.
Some of my books are created to help children build confidence and discover their voice. Others are written for teens and adults navigating growth, faith, motherhood, relationships, healing, and life’s unexpected seasons.
No matter the audience, my goal is always the same: to create something meaningful that meets readers where they are and encourages them to keep moving forward.

Beyond the Books
Books By Simone is one part of the work I’m passionate about. I also co-founded Duval Sistas 360, where we create meaningful community-centered events and experiences, including our annual breast cancer awareness fashion show.
Through Planning With Simone, I help make travel easier by creating memorable trips and group travel experiences.
I also serve through the Lillian Key Lewis Foundation, supporting breast cancer awareness, education, outreach, patient and survivor support, and community initiatives.
Whether through books, events, travel, or service, my goal is to create experiences that inspire, encourage, connect, and make a meaningful impact.
